Illinois Previews Scheduled for Springfield

A spring preview will be held for 3-year-old & up Illinois bred horses on May 25^th at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The total purse payout will be $60,000. A summer preview for 2-year-old Illinois bred horses will be held on June 20^th at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Entry fees for Springfield based trainers will be $50 for purse races and $35 for qualifiers. Entry fees for non-Springfield based trainers will be $65 for purse races and $50 for qualifiers. Post time for both days is 11:00 a.m.

Qualifiers will be held on both days after the purse races.  Entry fees must still be paid for scratched horses. All scratches must be reported to race office in a timely manner.  All horses need a negative coggins within 1 year and EHV vaccine within 6 months.
