New Paddock Procedures Announced

Horses will be grouped by trainer and all horsemen will be required to post a security sign stating if a horse is or is not on Lasix.


Horsemen will still be required to check in at the same security check-in we have been using at the SE corner of Barn D.


Upon check in, horsemen will be given their stall signs to be posted.

Hawthorne will have the signs available in two different colors:


RED SIGNS indicate the horse will receive Lasix

BLUE SIGNS indicate the horse is not on Lasix


On Sunday evenings, qualifying horses will also go into Barn D and be stabled with trainer's horses that are in that evening.

Those horses will need to fill out a security sign for those in a qualifier.


For each race, horses will be brought to line up in Barn 1 so they may go out in order.
