The $26,200 Cardinal Pace Final Saturday night ended up going to the 10-1 longshot Goindunside after the first place finisher Royale Rose was disqualified by the judges.

Royale Rose was placed fourth in the ICF 3-year-old colt pacing sake and Goinduneside ($22.00, Travis Seekman) was awarded his first victory on the year. Another longshot, Impressive Art (Randall Finn) moved up a notch to second and BS Tyriffic ended up third.
The seventh race feature was anything but dull right from the early going.
Red Dog Ryan (Ridge Warren) and Wondrous Sport (Bobby Smolin) pushed the early pace from the inside two slots forcing Impressive Art and Royal Rose, who left from posts 8 and 9, respectively, to race wide through the first turn.
Coming out of the turn Royal Rose managed to drop into third ahead of the fourth place horse Goindudeside.
Impressive Art went on to take the lead and Royale Rose came out and went after him as one of the early favorites Holdonwe-‘olling made a break and eliminated himself.
Royale Rose briefly took over the lead at the 57 half before Seekman sent Goinduneside out and rolling and took over the front. Royale Rose then ended-up stuck in the pocket through the third quarter and much of the stretch drive before coming out and rushing past in time only to be disqualified.
Goinduneside, trained by Lewayne Miller, had been winless in his first 11 starts. The homed-bred son of Duneside Perch is owed by Robert Mc Cormick (Grant Park, IL), Atlee Bender (Windgap, PA)and Miller (Anderson, IN).
