The unpredictable weather again played havoc with the Illinois State Fair meeting and its three dozen ISFCS championships, forcing a cancellation of Thursday’s program.

The Illinois State Fair Colt Stake finals will be moved to the opening week of the Hawthorne meeting, September 9th, and 10th.

Track conditions and time restrictions were the reasons for the scheduled 18-race program postponement on the final day of the Springfield meeting.

The popular Tim McGraw and Landon Parker concert will take place at the Springfield Fair Grounds later in the day.
